Семінар 7. Міжнародний семінар «Play-Based Learning & Communication» зосередив увагу на ролі гри та альтернативної комунікації в інклюзивній освіті
13 червня 2025 року у форматі онлайн відбувся міжнародний семінар «Play-Based Learning & Communication», організований у межах проєкту Enhancing the Participation and Ensuring the Right to Education for Children with Intellectual Disability: Developing Capacities and Opportunities (EPERE), № 00787/2024. Захід був присвячений ігровим підходам до навчання, розвитку комунікації та підтримці дітей з інтелектуальними порушеннями в умовах інклюзивної освіти.
Семінар проходив на платформі Zoom з одночасним перекладом українською та англійською мовами, що забезпечило участь фахівців з різних країн. Модераторкою семінару виступила Assoc. Prof. Kateryna Bondar (Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study, Uppsala, Sweden; Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, Ukraine).
У межах семінару було представлено доповіді, присвячені ролі гри у розвитку дітей з інтелектуальними порушеннями, використанню альтернативних і додаткових засобів комунікації, а також особливостям мовленнєвої терапії в інклюзивному освітньому середовищі.
Dr. Małgorzata Brodacka (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Poland) зосередила увагу на значенні гри як провідного засобу розвитку когнітивних, соціальних і комунікативних навичок у дітей з інтелектуальними порушеннями.
Питання використання альтернативної та додаткової комунікації (Augmentative and Alternative Communication, AAC) було розкрито у виступі Dr. Sofia Wallin, логопедки та фахівчині центру DART – Centre for AAC and AT, Sahlgrenska University Hospital (Gothenburg, Sweden), з акцентом на практичні аспекти впровадження AAC у роботі з дітьми.
Особливості логопедичної підтримки дітей з інтелектуальними порушеннями в умовах інклюзивної освіти були висвітлені у доповіді Prof. Yuliia Shevchenko (Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University, Ukraine), яка представила професійний досвід та практичні підходи до мовленнєвого супроводу дітей.
Семінар завершився підсумковою дискусією, під час якої учасники обговорили представлені підходи, поділилися досвідом та окреслили перспективи подальшої міжнародної співпраці.
Захід став важливою складовою серії міжнародних семінарів проєкту EPERE та сприяв поглибленню міждисциплінарного діалогу щодо розвитку комунікації та ігрового навчання в інклюзивній освіті.
International Seminar 7 “Play-Based Learning & Communication” Focused on the Role of Play and Alternative Communication in Inclusive Education
On 13 June 2025, the international online seminar “Play-Based Learning & Communication” was held within the framework of the project Enhancing the Participation and Ensuring the Right to Education for Children with Intellectual Disability: Developing Capacities and Opportunities (EPERE), No. 00787/2024. The seminar focused on play-based learning approaches, communication development, and support for children with intellectual disabilities in inclusive educational settings.
The seminar was conducted via the Zoom platform with simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian and English, enabling the participation of professionals from different countries. The seminar was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Kateryna Bondar (Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study, Uppsala, Sweden; Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, Ukraine).
The programme included presentations addressing the role of play in the development of children with intellectual disabilities, the use of augmentative and alternative communication, and specific aspects of speech and language therapy within inclusive education.
Dr Małgorzata Brodacka (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Poland) focused on the significance of play as a key means of fostering cognitive, social, and communicative skills in children with intellectual disabilities.
The use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) was addressed in the presentation by Dr Sofia Wallin, speech and language therapist and specialist at DART – Centre for AAC and AT, Sahlgrenska University Hospital (Gothenburg, Sweden), with particular emphasis on the practical implementation of AAC in work with children.
Key aspects of speech and language therapy support for children with intellectual disabilities in inclusive educational environments were presented by Prof. Yuliia Shevchenko (Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University, Ukraine), who shared professional experience and practice-oriented approaches to speech and language support.
The seminar concluded with a final discussion, during which participants reflected on the presented approaches, exchanged professional experiences, and outlined perspectives for further international cooperation.
The event constituted an important part of the EPERE project’s international seminar series and contributed to strengthening interdisciplinary dialogue on communication development and play-based learning in inclusive education.
