Семінар 1. Міжнародний семінар “Foundations of Inclusive Education”: ключові теми та обговорення
17 квітня 2025 року відбувся міжнародний онлайн-семінар “Foundations of Inclusive Education”, присвячений ключовим аспектам інклюзивної освіти для осіб з інтелектуальними порушеннями. Захід був організований в межах проєкту «Enhancing the Participation and Ensuring the Right to Education for Children with Intellectual Disability: Developing Capacities and Opportunities (EPERE)» та став частиною серії тематичних семінарів, спрямованих на посилення професійного діалогу і розвиток практик інклюзивного навчання на міжнародному рівні.
Семінар проходив у форматі відеоконференції на платформі Zoom з одночасним перекладом українською та англійською мовами, що забезпечило доступність заходу для широкого кола учасників з різних країн.
Модератором події виступив професор Thomas Barow (Університет Еребру, Швеція), який відкрив захід вітальним словом та окреслив основні завдання і значення серії семінарів у межах проєкту EPERE.
У програмі семінару було представлено дві доповіді провідних європейських науковців:
- Професор Tobias Buchner (University of Education Upper Austria, Австрія) виступив із темою “Inclusive Education and Students with Intellectual Disability”, у якій розкрив сучасні підходи до підтримки студентів з інтелектуальними порушеннями в умовах інклюзивного середовища. Доповідач акцентував увагу на важливості системної підтримки педагогів, адаптації навчального процесу та створенні безбар’єрного освітнього простору.
- Професор Thomas Barow (Örebro University, Швеція) представив доповідь “The Emergence and Development of Normalisation Concepts Regarding the Care and Education of People with Intellectual Disabilities”, в якій здійснив огляд еволюції концепції нормалізації та її впливу на формування підходів до навчання й догляду за людьми з інтелектуальними порушеннями в європейському контексті.
Після кожної з доповідей відбулися дискусії, під час яких учасники мали змогу поставити запитання, поділитися власним досвідом та обговорити шляхи вдосконалення інклюзивних освітніх практик.
Семінар об’єднав фахівців у галузі освіти,соцыальних наук, науковців, представників громадських організацій та освітніх установ з різних країн, сприяв обміну знаннями та кращими практиками, а також підкреслив важливість міжнародної співпраці у розбудові справедливої та доступної освіти для всіх.
International Seminar “Foundations of Inclusive Education”: Key Topics and Discussions
On April 17, 2025, the international online seminar “Foundations of Inclusive Education” took place. The seminar focused on the key aspects of inclusive education for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The event was organized within the framework of the project “Enhancing the Participation and Ensuring the Right to Education for Children with Intellectual Disability: Developing Capacities and Opportunities (EPERE)” and was part of a series of thematic seminars dedicated to fostering professional dialogue and promoting inclusive educational practices globally.
The seminar was conducted via Zoom with simultaneous interpretation in Ukrainian and English, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience of participants from various countries.
The event was moderated by Professor Thomas Barow (Örebro University, Sweden), who opened the seminar with a welcome address and outlined the main objectives and importance of the seminar series within the EPERE project.
The seminar program featured two presentations by leading European scholars:
- Professor Tobias Buchner (University of Education Upper Austria, Austria) delivered a presentation titled “Inclusive Education and Students with Intellectual Disability”, highlighting contemporary approaches to supporting students with intellectual disabilities in inclusive learning environments. He emphasized the importance of systemic support for educators, curriculum adaptation, and the creation of accessible and barrier-free educational settings.
- Professor Thomas Barow (Örebro University, Sweden) presented on “The Emergence and Development of Normalisation Concepts Regarding the Care and Education of People with Intellectual Disabilities”, offering a historical overview of the normalization concept and its influence on shaping approaches to the education and care of individuals with intellectual disabilities in the European context.
Each presentation was followed by discussions, during which participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their own experiences, and explore ways to improve inclusive educational practices.
The seminar brought together professionals in education and social sciences, researchers, representatives of civil society organizations, and educational institutions from various countries. It served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices, and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in building a fair and accessible education system for all.
